Terms & Conditions
Registration and cancellation policy for the 17th International Symposium of Clinical and Applied Anatomy (ISCAA 2026), Vienna, 3–6 September 2026.
Registration for ISCAA 2026 becomes binding upon completion of the registration process.
Cancellation by Participants
All cancellations must be submitted in writing by email to the ISCAA 2026 Organising Committee at info@iscaa2026-vienna.at.
The following cancellation conditions apply:
- Cancellation until 30 June 2026: 100% refund of the registration fee.
- Cancellation from 1 July until 31 July 2026: 50% refund of the registration fee.
- Cancellation from 1 August 2026 onwards: no refund of the registration fee.
- Non-attendance (no-show): no refund will be granted.
Any applicable bank charges or transaction fees associated with a refund may be deducted from the amount refunded.
Substitution
If a registered participant is unable to attend, the registration may be transferred to another person upon prior written notification to the Organising Committee. No additional administrative fee will be charged for a substitution.
Visa Applications
Participants requiring a visa are responsible for submitting their visa application in due time. The Organising Committee can provide an official invitation letter upon request; however, issuance of such a letter does not guarantee that a visa will be granted.
Failure to obtain a visa does not automatically entitle the participant to a refund. The regular cancellation conditions stated above apply.
Changes to the Programme
The Organising Committee reserves the right to make necessary changes to the scientific programme, including changes to speakers, session times, venues, or individual programme items. Such changes do not generally entitle participants to a refund of the registration fee.
Cancellation or Postponement of the Congress
In the unlikely event that ISCAA 2026 has to be cancelled by the Organising Committee, registration fees already paid will be refunded. Further claims against the Organising Committee, including reimbursement of travel, accommodation, visa, or other expenses, are excluded to the extent permitted by applicable law.
In the event of postponement or circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the Organising Committee (force majeure), participants will be informed as soon as possible. The Organising Committee will endeavour to provide an appropriate solution regarding registrations already paid.
Abstracts and Presentations
Acceptance of an abstract does not constitute registration for the congress. Presenting authors must complete congress registration within the deadlines communicated by the Organising Committee. If the presenting author is not registered by the applicable deadline, the Organising Committee reserves the right to remove the contribution from the final scientific programme and/or abstract publication.
Liability
Participation in ISCAA 2026 is at the participant’s own responsibility. The Organising Committee and the Medical University of Vienna shall not be liable for losses, damages, or expenses incurred by participants, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
Applicable Law
These terms and conditions are governed by Austrian law. Mandatory statutory consumer protection provisions remain unaffected.
